Who we are

GTFI INSTITUTO, UNIPESSOAL LDA, Avenida Duque de Loulé, 12 6º, 1050-093 Lisboa, Portugal, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: welcome@seiruna.com.

The game

Midnight Guest does not collect, transmit, share or sell personal data. It has no account, login, advertising, analytics, tracking or in-app purchases, and it works offline. Saved games, settings and the list of endings you have found stay on your device, inside the game's private storage. We cannot access them. Deleting the game deletes them.

If you email us

We receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include. We use this only to answer you and resolve your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support, or the performance of our contract with you where your request concerns the game you purchased (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and (b)). Emailing us is optional, but we cannot answer you without this information. We keep this correspondence for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

If you open this page

When you open this page, for example from the Privacy button in the game, our hosting provider may process your IP address, browser details and the time of your visit in server logs, to deliver the page and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Logs are kept for 1 year. This page uses no cookies, analytics or third-party content.

Apple

Purchases, payments and downloads are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, and Apple is responsible for that processing. We receive no personal information identifying buyers. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us crash reports and statistics, which we use only to fix problems. You can change this choice in your device settings at any time.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions, namely our email and website hosting providers, and with authorities where the law requires it. We require these providers to protect the data to the standard described here. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EEA

We process this data within the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your personal data, and for its correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email welcome@seiruna.com; there is no charge. We answer within one month. To remove your data from the game itself, delete the game. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt), or to the authority in your own EU country.

Automated decisions and children

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. The game is rated 16+ and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
